StoreSure · Legal
Terms of Service
The agreement between your business and ours. It says what we owe you, what you owe us, and — deliberately — what this software is not.
Effective 31 August 2026. Last updated 31 August 2026.
Draft — not yet in force
The registered entity name, address and seat of jurisdiction have not been filled in, so this document identifies no legal person and cannot be relied on. Set them in src/app/legal/legal.tsx and have both documents reviewed by a lawyer qualified in India before charging a customer.
1. This agreement
These terms govern your use of StoreSure at storesureapp.in, operated by [REGISTERED ENTITY NAME], a [proprietorship / private limited company] at [REGISTERED ADDRESS, CITY, STATE, PIN] (“we”, “us”). “You” or “Customer” means the business that subscribes. By using StoreSure you accept these terms on behalf of that business and confirm you are authorised to do so.
StoreSure is business software sold to businesses. It is not offered to consumers for personal use.
2. What StoreSure is — and is not
StoreSure records material movement at a construction site, evidences that it happened, and reveals variance. That is its whole scope.
It is deliberately not, and must not be relied on as:
- a statutory, tax or accounting record. It is an operational record. Keep your books where they are; do not file returns from StoreSure.
- a valuation or audit opinion. Stock values are computed from the rates your team enters.
- an ERP, a procurement system, or a payments system. It does not raise purchase orders, move money, or manage labour.
- proof of wrongdoing. A variance flag is a prompt to look, not a finding against a person. How you act on one is entirely your responsibility as an employer.
3. Accounts and your team
- Site accounts are provisioned by us or by your own site administrator. There is no public self-signup, which is intentional.
- Each person must have their own identity. Sharing a login defeats the purpose of the product, and we do not charge per user precisely so that you never need to.
- You are responsible for keeping PINs and passwords confidential, for removing people who leave, and for everything done under your accounts.
- A PIN cannot be recovered, only reset — we store hashes, not the PIN itself. Resets go through your site administrator or through us.
- Tell us promptly at dhruvdesai80@gmail.com if you believe an account has been compromised.
If your team members are individuals whose personal data you put into StoreSure — including the GPS location captured with their entries — you confirm you have told them and have a lawful basis to do so. We process that data on your instructions; see the Privacy Policy.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- attempt to reach another Customer’s data, bypass role restrictions, or probe the service for vulnerabilities without our written permission;
- submit content that is unlawful, or store credentials, passwords or payment card details in free-text fields;
- resell, sublicense or provide StoreSure as a service to a third party without our agreement;
- use automated means to extract data at a scale that degrades the service for others.
Entries are checked for quality as they are recorded, and poor-quality or unusual entries are flagged for your site administrator rather than refused. We do not block a movement from being recorded, because a blocked entry means an unrecorded one.
5. Fees
- ₹4,999 per active site per month, plus applicable taxes. A site is active if it can be used, whether or not entries are made.
- Launch pilots include a free period, stated to you in writing when your site is set up. Billing begins after it ends.
- Invoices are payable within 15 days. We may suspend access to a site whose fees are more than 30 days overdue, after telling you first.
- You may cancel any site with 30 days’ written notice. Fees already paid for the current period are not refunded.
- We may change pricing with 30 days’ written notice, effective at your next renewal.
6. Your data stays yours
You own everything your team records. We claim no ownership of it and will not use it for our own purposes, will not sell it, and will not use it to train any AI model.
We may use aggregated, anonymised statistics that cannot identify you, your sites or your people — for example how many movements the platform handles — to operate and improve the service.
Records are append-only by design. A posted entry is never edited or deleted; a mistake is corrected by recording a reversal so that both the error and the correction remain visible. This is what makes the record defensible, and it means we cannot quietly remove an individual entry on request.
On termination you may export your data. We keep it available for 90 days after the subscription ends, then delete it from the live system.
7. AI features
StoreSure uses AI to read photographed challans and bills, to flag entries that look unusual against your own site history, and to answer questions from figures already calculated. The boundaries are firm:
- AI never posts, approves or reverses anything. A scan only pre-fills a form for a person to check and save.
- Every number is computed by StoreSure, not by a model. Answers interpret those numbers and cite the evidence behind them.
- You must check what a scan produces before saving it. Handwriting, poor light and damaged paper cause misreads; low-confidence lines are marked for you.
- AI output is advisory. Do not treat a flag, a forecast or an answer as a decision, and do not act against a person on one alone.
Using these features sends the photograph, or the summary figures behind an answer, to our AI provider. The Privacy Policy sets out exactly what and when. We may change provider, and will keep that policy current.
8. Availability, and the offline caveat
We aim to keep StoreSure available continuously and to give notice of planned maintenance. We do not currently offer a contractual uptime guarantee, and we would rather say so than promise one we have not yet earned. If that changes we will publish an SLA and tell you.
Offline capture on the web is best-effort. An entry made without a network is held in the browser’s own storage until it syncs. Browsers can clear that storage, so treat the pending queue as a short buffer, not a store of record — sync as soon as you have signal. The app always shows how many entries are waiting. We are not liable for entries lost from a browser’s storage before they reach us.
9. Support
Support is by email at dhruvdesai80@gmail.com, during Indian business hours, in English, Hindi or Gujarati. Pilot customers get direct setup help. Diagnosing a problem may require us to open your site data; that access is logged.
10. Confidentiality
Each of us will keep the other’s non-public information confidential and use it only for this agreement. This does not cover information that is already public, independently developed, or that we must disclose by law — in which case we will tell you where we are permitted to.
11. Intellectual property
We own StoreSure, its software, design and brand. You get a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it for your own business while your subscription lasts. You may not copy, decompile or create derivative works from it. Feedback you send us may be used to improve the product without obligation, and gives us no rights over your data.
12. Warranties and liability
We provide StoreSure with reasonable skill and care. Beyond that it is provided “as is”, and we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that flags and forecasts will identify every problem.
Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of business opportunity. Our total liability under this agreement, for all claims taken together, is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law, including for fraud.
Decisions remain yours. We are not liable for how you act on a variance flag, a forecast or an AI answer, including any employment or contractual action you take against a person.
13. Indemnity
You will indemnify us against claims arising from your unlawful use of StoreSure, from content your team submits, or from your failure to give your own people the notice required for the personal data you put into it.
14. Suspension and termination
- You may terminate with 30 days’ written notice, site by site or entirely.
- We may suspend or terminate for unpaid fees after notice, for a material breach of section 4 that you do not fix within 15 days, or immediately where use threatens the security of the platform or another Customer.
- We may discontinue StoreSure with 90 days’ notice, refunding fees paid for any period after the end date.
- On termination your right to use it ends; sections 6, 10, 12 and 13 survive.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Significant changes will be emailed to Customers at least 30 days before taking effect. If you do not accept a change you may terminate before it applies. Continuing to use StoreSure after that means you accept it.
16. Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of India. The courts at [CITY] have exclusive jurisdiction. Before starting proceedings, both of us will try in good faith to resolve the dispute in writing within 30 days.
If any provision is unenforceable, the rest stands. Neither of us is liable for failure caused by events beyond reasonable control. Neither may assign this agreement without the other’s consent, except to a successor of substantially the whole business.
